Cruise wants Kidman at wedding

Tom Cruise has asked ex-wife Nicole Kidman to attend his wedding to Katie Holmes.

Cruise hopes that his former wife of ten years will come along to show that relations between the two are still good, particularly for adopted children Isabella, 11, and nine-year-old Connor.

However, Kidman shares the public's skepticism as to how far Cruise and Holmes' whirlwind romance is a publicity stunt at a time when they both have new movies to promote (War of the Worlds and Batman Begins respectively.)

A friend of the Bewitched actress told The Sun: "Nicole has voiced her concerns about the relationship already.

"Like everybody else, Nicole thinks there has been too much publicity surrounding the whole thing when they both have films to promote.

"Tom wants Nicole to be there to show they are on good terms. He also told her it would mean so much to the kids."
