Candy Spelling: 'Grandkids are best gift'

Candy Spelling has said that her grandchildren are the "best gift ever".

Spelling, who recently reconciled with daughter Tori after years of public feuding, has revealed that she enjoys being a grandmother.

Speaking to People, she said: "There is 3-year-old [Liam] and next month, Stella will be two. They're the best gift ever.

"I love to take them out for ice cream. And when they get cranky... I take them home!"

Spelling insisted that she likes taking care of her daughter and husband Dean McDermott's children so that the couple can have their quality time.

She added: "It is nice when they can be with Grandma when [Tori and Dean] want their time. It gives them a break, and it builds [our] relationship. It’s great."
