Cheryl, will.i.am 'hold hands in duet'

Cheryl Cole and will.i.am have fuelled rumours that they are a couple after singing a surprise duet at a luxury VIP party.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the pair were spotted linking arms and gazing into each other's eyes during their performance.

"It was electric. We anchored half-a-mile off Monaco and it was like a mini concert. Cheryl and Will looked very much like a couple. The crowd was wall-to-wall VIP but they were all clapping at the end," crew member Black Shadow revealed.

Meanwhile, Debra Cain, the mother of the Black Eyed Peas frontman, said that he had invited Cole to his sister's wedding: "Yes, we are saving a seat for her. We love Cheryl and we are very happy she is performing with William. I spoke to him yesterday and he is really enjoying this tour with her.

"I can't tell you if they are boyfriend or girlfriend, you will just have to wait and see what happens. William does have a girlfriend, but I can't tell you who it is. It is a secret."
