Sarah Palin gets author as neighbour

Sarah Palin has complained on her Facebook page about her new neighbour, author Joe McGinniss.

The former Alaska governor returned home to Wasilla to find that McGinniss, who is currently writing a book about her, had moved into the house next door to hers.

"Yes, that Joe McGinniss. Here he is about 15 feet away on the neighbour's rented deck overlooking my children's play area and my kitchen window," she wrote.

"We're sure to have a doozey to look forward to with this treasure he's penning. Wonder what kind of material he'll gather while overlooking Piper's bedroom, my little garden, and the family's swimming hole?"

McGinniss wrote a critical piece on Palin last year for Portfolio, and says that his next book, tentatively titled Sarah Palin's Year of Living Dangerously, could be released as early as next year.
