According to Entertainment Tonight, the
octogenarian comedienne has partnered with SleepBetter.org and the Carpenter Company to raise awareness of how bedtime stories can help children sleep better at night.
"Great sleep habits and routines are taught right from the crib and then ruined over the next seventy years by late-night television," White joked.
The Golden Girls star said that a good bedtime story can help children get a good night's rest, which is essential for energy, improved memory and good health.
Fans of the actress recently launched a Facebook campaign to convince her to host the next Academy Awards telecast following her appearance on Saturday Night Live.
