Jude and Sadie reach settlement

Jude Law and Sadie Frost have finally reached an out of court settlement two years after their divorce.

The pair divorced in October 2003 after six years of marriage, but have failed to reach agreement of a settlement until now.

The Daily Mail reports that they found agreement over the telephone just three days after the beginning of their High Court case. Although they have each signed confidentiality agreements preventing them from discussing the settlement, it is thought that Frost is holding onto the marital home in London and will receive monthly allowances from Law as well as a lump sum totalling around £2m.

A friend of Frost told the newspaper: "Sadie is pretty happy about the agreement - they both are. The most important thing for her is that she has kept the house. She knows that she will be financially secure - although she will still have to work. Jude is relieved, too. Sadie had been trying to get a lot more money out of him. Both of them are now hoping to put this behind and get on with their lives with their new partners."
