Ashley Judd 'gets Harvard degree'

Ashley Judd received a mid-career masters degree on Thursday at Harvard University's commencement ceremony.

The actress has been studying public administration at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, reports the Boston Globe.

Graduates held up inflatable globes during the event to represent the varied student body.

Meryl Streep was also present to accept an honorary degree from the school.
