The former Take That star bought the seven-bedroom Compton Bassett House for £8.1m last year. Now, he will sell it at a £600,000 loss after deciding to live full-time in the US with his fiancée Ayda Field.
According to The Mail On Sunday, Williams, 36, was initially attracted to the property because of its proximity to ley lines - which some claim to have mystical energy. The area is also well known for its crop circles, which some people believe are created by aliens.
"He bought the house to be near the crop circle goings-on, thinking that to be spiritual stuff, but he’s probably realised it's just a load of blokes stamping round the fields at night," said local landlord Danny Adams.
