Justin Bieber hits back at tabloid "lies"

Justin Bieber has slammed reports that he recently acted inappropriately.

The 16-year-old singer was said to have acted like a diva at the Radio 1 Big Weekend and swore at staff on a TV show in Australia this week.

However, in a number of messages, he tweeted: "Family time with my mum couldn't come at a better time... i was raised to respect others and not gossip... nor answer gossip with anger.

"I know my friends family and fans know the person i am. hearing adults spread lies and rumours is part of the job i guess.

"So everyone keep smiling... we r all blessed and I am still grateful and appreciate of the opportunity u have all given me to do what i love. But i all i have to say is... kill em with kindness (sic)."
