Doherty 'honoured' to perform at Live 8

Pete Doherty has claimed that he and Elton John have the perfect rock and roll partnership.
The pair are to perform T-Rex's Children Of The Revolution together at Live 8 today, and the Babyshambles frontman is delighted to be teamed up with "a legend".
"It'll be amazing," Doherty told The Mirror. "I'm honoured to be taking part. What's going on in Africa has to stop. I just want to play my guitar and hopefully it helps. I may mumble a lot down the microphone on stage, but when I sing it's from my heart."
