Nixon: "I don't mind a long engagement"

The couple, who got engaged last year, have put off the vows in the hope that gay marriage will become legal in New York, reports People.
"We're doing two things. We're doing as much as we can to make it legal here, and we're also looking into other options," she said.
"I'm enjoying being engaged very much. I don't mind a long engagement, which this one is surely turning out to be."
The Sex And The City actress also revealed that her children, 13-year-old Samantha and 7-year-old Charles, have accepted Marinoni as their second mother.
"Maybe I'm just lucky, but I feel like Christine is so amazing with our kids – because they're our kids."
