Alex Reid: 'Andre can visit Harvey'

Katie Price's husband Alex Reid has claimed that Peter Andre should visit their family home if he wants to see the glamour girl's eldest child Harvey.

The cage fighter spoke out following Andre's confession that he has not been able to spend time with the 8-year-old for the past two months. It is understood that Price will not let Harvey stay with her ex until he recruits a suitable nanny who can manage the child's special needs.

Writing in his Star magazine column, Reid commented: "Last week, Pete said he hasn't seen Harvey in over two months, which is a shame.

"It's also a shame that people think Kate's making it tough, but with Harvey's condition she has to make sure Pete has the right care. As he knows, he's always welcome to the house."

However, a spokeswoman for Andre said that the suggestion was not good enough. She told the Daily Star: "It shouldn't be that Peter has to visit Harvey at the home Alex now lives in - it never has been like that before."

Harvey's father is footballer Dwight Yorke, who is believed to have little contact with his son.
