Tracy Grimshaw: 'I feel blessed'
Published Wednesday, Jun 2 2010, 08:58 BST | By Rebecca Davies
Tracy Grimshaw has revealed that she doesn't mind turning 50 this week.
The presenter of A Current Affair, who defended herself last year when Gordon Ramsay referred to her as an "ugly, old pig" and a "lesbian", said that she does not regret choosing her career over marriage and children.
Grimshaw told Woman's Day magazine: "Age is almost irrelevant these days - almost. I think it's a shame when women sometimes feel uncomfortable about disclosing their age.
"The only way you can make that discomfort go away and the only way to address that weird stigma is just to stare it down, to refuse to be cowed by it or play by those rules."
