Travolta, Preston: 'Baby is a miracle'

John Travolta and Kelly Preston have called the news that they are expecting another child "a miracle".

The couple told People that they had almost given up hope of ever conceiving again and admitted that they feel "blessed" by the news and the love from their friends and fans.

"We tried for several years, and we didn't think it was going to happen for us," they said.

"We are so moved by the generous outpouring of support and goodwill we've received from people all over the world."

The actors, who are already parents to 10-year-old Ella Bleu, also denied speculation that they wanted another child to replace their son Jett, who died last year at the age of 16.

"They can never replace him. [They have] always wanted to have more kids," said a source.
