Heather Mills's former nanny Sara Trumble has failed in her bid to prove that she was treated unfairly by the star.

Trumble, 26, had launched a constructive dismissal and sex discrimination case against Mills, claiming that the ex-model had exploited her by making a number of unreasonable demands during her employment.

However, announcing his decision today, employment tribunal judge Steven Vowles rejected all of Trumble's allegations, BBC News reports.

Responding to the news, a spokeswoman for Mills commented: "Heather is delighted with the decision of the employment tribunal that has dismissed all of Sara Trumble's claims.

"Heather was always a very fair and generous employer to Sara and is very pleased that this has been confirmed by Judge Vowles and the tribunal members unanimously in the judgment."

Trumble had been employed as a childminder for Mills's daughter Beatrice, now 6. Her claims were heard at the tribunal in Ashford, Kent for a week in late March and early April.

Mills had always denied any wrongdoing, insisting that she had treated Trumble 'like a daughter'.
