Ashley Cole 'feels betrayed by Cheryl'

Ashley Cole has accused estranged wife Cheryl of "stringing him along" since she announced their split last month, it has been claimed.

According to Heat, the Chelsea footballer has been sending Cheryl dozens of texts every day since she filed for divorce.

A source said: "Cheryl's at her wit's end. Since she filed divorce papers, Ash has been constantly texting her nasty messages, accusing her of making a fool out of him.

"Ashley is in a bad place right now and he is taking it out on Cheryl. In the beginning he was trying to do everything to win her back, but now he knows that isn't going to happen he has become nastier."

They added: "He's bombarding Cheryl with texts, saying she has made him look like a fool by waiting so long to file for divorce.

"He accused her of stringing him along. And he went crazy over the photos of Cheryl and her friend, dancer Derek Hough, driving to their home last week. He feels betrayed by Cheryl because she brought another man into their home."

Ashley is rumoured to be dating former lapdancer Sarah Purnell, who has described herself as a "white witch".
