Cheryl Cole fans 'go to divorce parties'

Fans of Cheryl Cole have reportedly started attending parties in celebration of the singer's divorce from Ashley.

According to Contactmusic, groups of women gather in order to sell jewellery given to them by their ex-boyfriends and husbands. The parties, organised by gold traders Ounces@Pounds, allow attendees to trade in the items that they bring.

One of the functions has already taken place and is said to have brought in over £5,000 worth of discarded jewels.

Six more parties are planned throughout England this weekend.

Cole reportedly gave away pieces given to her by her soon-to-be ex-husband after confirming their divorce.
