The actor agreed to allow members of the public to perform various duties at the ranch according to different price brackets, reports The AP.
The title of 'range boss' comes with a $500 (£350) fee and includes fishing on the Pecos River, while $250 (£170) buys a ranch hand position. Those interested in a half-day experience can pay $125 (£85) to be a wrangler.
Kilmer offered the deal after director Michael Hare revealed the financial difficulties that the festival has faced in the current economic climate.
