The pressure is on for Ioan Gruffudd to propose to long-term partner Alice Evans.
Evans, 33, ended her eight-year relationship with Pablo Picasso's grandson, Olivier, because he failed to propose to her. "I had a fantastic relationship with Olivier and would have married him if he'd asked me," she explains, "but he didn't."
Learning from Olivier's mistakes, the Fantastic Four actor plans to propose to Evans, even though he may push his luck by waiting another two years.
"My girlfriend and I have been together for five years. We met while shooting 102 Dalmations," IOL quotes him as saying.
"We've lived together for the past two years and certainly if I don't ask her within the next couple of years I'll be out on my ear."
