Page 'turns on' husband with fake accent

Joanna Page has revealed that her husband is aroused by her fake Scottish accent.

The Gavin & Stacey star told Closer that she has been perfecting a Glaswegian twang for an upcoming movie, which she uses to seduce Emmerdale actor James Thornton.

She said: "My husband says it turns him on! I'm playing a depressed nutter - so nothing like Stacey!"

Page married Thornton, who plays John Barton in the ITV1 soap, in December 2003, and has previously expressed an interest in joining Emmerdale to act alongside him.
