The couple stayed in a £29-a-night room after Jay-Z's headlining slot at the Isle of Wight Festival, according to the News Of The World.
The rapper, 40, also allegedly choose to eat at a local Pizza Hut, after his wife had shopped for clothes in New Look.
A source said: "They were a completely normal couple. They actually have simple tastes and preferred to go out for a pizza rather than something posh."
Jay-Z recently claimed that his wife would make a great A&R.
