Coleman ex-wife addresses deathbed photo

Gary Coleman's ex-wife has spoken out about the recent photograph appearing to show him on his deathbed.

The cover of this week's Globe magazine features an image of Coleman lying in a hospital bed with his eyes closed and a bandage on his head as Price stares at the camera.

When asked by ET Online's Kevin Frazier who took the photo, she replied: "I know who took them but I want to deal with it privately between that person and I.

"I believe it was a close family member, but I did not authorise them [and] did not authorise them to give them to anyone."

Frazier then handed Price a copy of the magazine - which she had not seen before - prompting her to describe the images as "brutal, upsetting and tragic that somebody would actually put this out there like that".

She added that it is "frustrating" that people think she was involved, insisting that she did not sell the pictures to the tabloid.

It is thought that the photographs were sold for around $10,000 (£6,883), but America Media - the parent company of The Globe - has reportedly declined to confirm the price.

Coleman, 42, passed away on May 28 after suffering a fall at his Utah home.
