Betty White 'would welcome Reynolds kiss'

Betty White has reportedly joked that she would prefer to get a kiss from Ryan Reynolds than his Proposal co-star Sandra Bullock.

The 88-year-old actress was on the stage at the MTV Movie Awards this month when Reynolds's wife Scarlett Johansson shared an embrace with Bullock.

Johansson had joked that Bullock and Reynolds should have won the prize for 'Best Kiss' because their liplock in the romantic comedy had looked "soft".

According to People, White was asked by reporters at a screening in New York whether she wanted a kiss from Bullock too. "No, no," she replied. "But if Ryan Reynolds had kissed me, I'd have been very ready."

The former Golden Girls star - who had been presenting Bullock with the 'Generation Award' alongside Johansson and Bradley Cooper - added that the actress was "doing wonderfully" and she thought her acceptance speech at the ceremony had been "brilliant".

White was in New York for a screening of her new Sean Hayes-produced sitcom Hot In Cleveland, which debuts tomorrow night at 10pm on TV Land.
