Robert Jeffs, the lawyer appointed to oversee Coleman's estate, told The AP that the actor's will states that there should be no funeral following his death.
Jeffs said that it is not likely that the child star's remains will be cremated on Wednesday.
Coleman's ex-wife Shannon Price and former girlfriend Anna Gray have both claimed that they are the legal heir to his estate.
The Diff'rnt Strokes actor died on May 28 after suffering a brain haemorrhage following a fall in his Utah home.
