According to Deadline, the actress is still negotiating a delivery date and other details with publisher HarperCollins and a co-author.
The 47-year-old began shopping the memoir around to publishers in May.
The volume will reportedly chronicle the star's life and Hollywood career.
HarperCollins previously announced that the book will be "framed by her complicated relationship with her mother Virginia King".
