Pete Doherty and his band lost out on £20,000 for missing the Finsbury Park show, which saw performances from Girls Aloud and Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
"The organisers were fuming," a source told the Sunday Mirror. "The band cancelled their summer gigs but promised to play this one. They were due on at six but by seven they still hadn't arrived.
"There was no call, no apology, nothing. It was an insult to their fans."
The group were scrapped from their support slot for Oasis after failing to show up for a gig on July 6. There are also reports claiming that Doherty is considering leaving the band.
