Sigourney Weaver joins Radio 4 play

Sigourney Weaver is set to appear in a Radio 4 play later this year, controller Mark Damazer has announced.
One airing of the station's hour-long The Friday Play will hear the Alien star lend her vocals to a Vietnam field nurse looking back at her traumatic time in the conflict.
The Guardian reports that No Background Music is based upon a number of interviews with Vietnam nurses over the past 15 years by U.S. writer Normi Noel.
Weaver is currently filming Snow Cake and Have You Heard?.
