Coleen Nolan buys pony for daughter

Coleen Nolan has revealed that she has bought a pony for her youngest child Ciara.

The Loose Women star splashed out on the gift for her daughter's ninth birthday at the weekend.

Speaking on GMTV today, Nolan commented: "It was her best birthday ever and I have to say - and people will probably hate me for it - we bought her her first pony.

"She's horse-mad. She's become totally obsessed with it. It was like, 'No, no, you're not having a pony. When you're 12 if you still like horses'. But I couldn't resist it. It's the tiniest little pony."

The star added: "She's totally committed to it. It keeps her off watching telly all day. It's exercise. I don't care what people say. I work hard and I wanted to spoil her for a nice birthday."

Nolan is currently promoting her debut novel Envy, which is set on a Loose Women-style panel show.
