Zellweger denies marriage problems

Renee Zellweger has denied that her marriage to Kenny Chesney is going badly.

The pair married in May but have apparently spent little time together since. A source told the Daily Mail on Saturday how the marriage caught Renee unawares regarding the amount of involvement required for it to work. Meanwhile, Chesney is made out to be too controlling.

The friend told the newspaper: "The realities of married life are hitting them both awfully hard. Renee had no idea how involved in every aspect of her life Kenny would want to be.

"She'd never even seen him lose his temper before the wedding, but now he seems to think he can tell Renee what to do, what to wear, where to go and who to see. He doesn't seem to like her hanging out with her old friends."

However, the actress' publicist Nanci Ryder insists that the couple's relationship is 'great'.
