The 88-year-old actress - who is currently starring in TV Land's Hot In Cleveland - was asked by OK magazine for the secret to her success.
"I have no idea if such a thing is true, but if it is, I'm just lucky," she replied.
The former Golden Girls star went on to say that she is also writing a book in addition to her television commitments, but joked that she "hasn't been doing much writing lately - as you can plainly see... I've gotta finish that before I get on to something else".
Hot In Cleveland executive producer Sean Hayes recently described White as "phenomenal", saying that the show is "lucky" to have her.
