Derek Hough 'wants West End role'

Derek Hough is hoping to land a part in London's West End, a report has claimed.

The Dancing With The Stars regular is currently in the process of auditioning for an as-yet-unknown stage role, according to the Daily Star.

It is thought that the 25-year-old is keen to find work in the UK because he wants to continue growing close to X Factor judge Cheryl Cole.

A source said: "Following his break in Tanzania with Cheryl, he'll do anything in his power to spend more time with her."

Hough's stepfather Aaron Nelson recently said that the dancer is "totally in love" with Cole.

The pair have been repeatedly linked in the media in the aftermath of Cheryl's split from husband Ashley.
