The 'Careless Whisper' singer, who was seen having dinner and attending a film screening while touring Australia earlier this year, is believed to have spent $6 million on a three-storey property at Whale Beach.
A source told The Daily Telegraph: "He loves Aussie guys... loves Sydney and plans to split his time between here and London."
The house, which overlooks the edge of the beach where Aussie soap Home and Away is filmed, boasts a swimming pool, glass walls and an "ideal for entertaining" deck outside.
The estate agent who is believed to be conducting the sale said yesterday: "I would like to help you but I have signed a confidentiality clause in regards to this sale."
