Kylie 'taught offside rule by boyfriend'

Kylie Minogue has revealed that she is trying to learn football's offside rule as she watches the World Cup with her boyfriend Andres Velencoso.

The 'All The Lovers' singer also said that Velencoso acts like a "clown" and makes her laugh.

Attempting to explain the football rule, Minogue said: "They kick the ball and then it's, like, someone from the other team has got to be... I don't know. There's got to be a member of opposite team in front of the ball. See, it's not easy!"

Speaking about her boyfriend, she told Sky News: "I feel very calm with Andres which is great because the rest of my life is so frantic.

"He might look like - and indeed be - a Spanish supermodel but he's a total clown half the time. I need to laugh, that's for sure, and he makes me laugh."

Minogue recently performed at this year's Glastonbury Festival with Scissor Sisters.
