Rutherford "excited" at daughter walking

The 41-year-old Gossip Girl actress, who gave birth to Helena last year, said that she is very "excited" at her development.
Rutherford told Us Magazine: "[Helena] started to walk yesterday and we are so excited. We all make a big deal and clap. [She is] talking and is so expressive. She is talking with her brother [Hermes]. They were watching a video this morning and talking! It was very cute."
Talking about her 3-year-old son with ex-husband Daniel Giersch, she added: "He is really good and protective!
"I know soon they will be in school so I am really enjoying being with them. I had three months off from work and I really just spent it with them. Anytime I am not working, I am with the kids."
Rutherford's representative recently confirmed that she is in a new relationship with a man named Jason Bird.
