A movie featuring the East 17 singer is rumoured to be vying for this year's Virgin Media Shorts competition.
The short features Harvey's character embarking on an affair with his best friend's girlfriend. It concludes with a massacre scene where Harvey and the girl are seemingly left for dead.
It is not yet known if the project will make the 12-film shortlist.
The selected shorts will be played on the competition's website, mobile phones, Virgin Media's TV on Demand service and 214 cinemas nationwide from September.
The director of the winning film will also pick up a £30,000 prize for their future work.
