Reid: 'Basshunter won't be at wedding'

Alex Reid has confirmed that Basshunter will be unable to attend his forthcoming marriage blessing.

The cage fighter had asked his former Celebrity Big Brother housemate to be present when he exchanges vows with Katie Price for a second time.

However, recent reports revealed that the Swedish star had politely turned the couple down.

Writing in his Star magazine column, Reid explained: "The gossip about our wedding is getting out of control. Of all the celebs we have apparently invited who said no, only Basshunter is true! And that is because he has DJ-ing commitments."

Dismissing claims that other top celebrities have refused to attend, the star added: "I like Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan, but we never invited them."

Reid and Price recently announced that their wedding will be filmed for an ITV2 reality show.
