Ronnie Wood 'still devoted' to girlfriend

Ronnie Wood remains committed to girlfriend Ana Araujo despite recent speculation to the contrary, sources close to the star have said.

The Rolling Stone started dating Araujo in February, but the status of their relationship was recently called into question when he stepped out for a lunch date with burlesque dancer Melissa Hammond, also known as Fifi La Bomb.

However, according to the Daily Express today, Wood only considers Hammond as a friend and has not split from Araujo.

A friend told the newspaper: "Ronnie is still devoted to Ana. Melissa is just a mate. Ana is a big part of Ronnie's new way of life and he doesn't want to jeopardise that. She's the best thing that has happened to him for a long time and he relies on her hugely. He doesn't want to sacrifice that."

The insider added: "Ronnie has all kinds of exotic, unconventional friends but his priority is Ana these days."

Wood broke up with Russian bargirl Ekaterina Ivanova last December.
