Kirk Pengilly and Layne Beachley have set a date for their wedding.
The INXS guitarist and saxophonist, who has been engaged to world champion surfer Beachley for 18 months, said that the ceremony will take place in October this year.
Pengilly told The Daily Telegraph yesterday: "We have set a date and it will be in October."
Pengilly, who almost became blind after suffering from glaucoma in his 20s, yesterday promoted JulEye eye health awareness month in Pyrmont, encouraging young people to get their sight checked every two years.
