In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Twilight actress said that dropping her cigarette addiction has made her more interested in sports.
"I quit smoking, like, a year ago -- actually July 5 is my one year [anniversary]," she said.
"It's really exciting. Actually, I'm probably the most excited about that, so I became more athletic after."
She added: "[I do] a lot of water sports. I surf. I water ski. I box. Apparently, now I snow ski. Nothing on a snowboard, though. For some reason, it doesn't make sense."
Reed recently admitted that she was "intimated" by her scenes in the latest Twilight film.
Twilight: Eclipse is now playing in US theatres.
