Injured Kaisers' Ricky will play V

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson tore his ankle ligaments during a gig earlier this week but the band's management insist that they will still play this weekend's V Festival.
The injury occurred when Wilson performed a stage dive on Tuesday night at Portugal's Parades de Coura Festival and will force Ricky to seek the support of crutches during his V performance.
A spokesperson told the NME: "Ricky Wilson has torn his ankle ligaments jumping off a stage at Parades De Coura Festival, Portugal. It's a repeat of the injury Ricky suffered in March this year on the band's US dates around South by South West.
“All shows planned for this weekend, Lowlands, Pukkelpop and V Festival will go ahead, but Ricky will be less mobile than usual and won't be climbing any lighting rigs. Any rumours of cancellations are not true - Kaiser Chiefs will perform as planned across this weekend."
