Hayes 'accidentally went into labour'

Chanelle Hayes has said that she "accidentally" went into labour with her first child.

The former Big Brother contestant, who is due to give birth in August, told Star that she had to be rushed from her then-partner Jack Tweed's house to hospital for treatment.

Hayes said: "I accidentally went into labour. They were quite worried. I was at Jack's house when I woke up and there was blood everywhere.

"I had to get [Tweed's mother] Mary to take me to hospital. They kept me in for three days and had to wake me up every half-hour to monitor the baby."

She added: "They gave me steroid injections in my bum because the baby's lungs weren't developed. I went nuts. All over my notes they wrote, 'Needlephobe'.

"I’ve been told I've got anaemia. I have to eat a special diet with bananas and black pudding. They told me I could take a sip of Guinness but I don't want a drunk baby coming out!"

Of past suggestions that she had faked her pregnancy, Hayes said: "Oh my God, how stupid is that? I was quite offended.

"It's not like I'm a tabloid grabber like Jordan! Then again, I'm flattered people still slag me off because it gives me more work."
