Eminem hospitalised for drug dependency

Interscope Records has announced that Eminem has been hospitalised for treatment for dependency on sleep medication.

The rapper cancelled his European tour earlier this week citing "exhaustion, complicated by other medical issues" as the reason.

Reuters reports that a statement from the label reads: "Marshall Mathers, a.k.a. Eminem, is in the hospital under doctors' care. He's being treated for dependency on sleep medication."
