Father wishes Jolie and Pitt happiness

Jon Voight has high hopes for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's alleged relationship.

Voight, star of Midnight Cowboy and estranged father of Angelina Jolie, has said that he sends his best wishes to the Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-stars, who after months of speculation have still not confirmed whether or not they are a couple.

Ireland Online quotes Voight as saying: "Brad's a nice guy, I'm sure he'll take care of her. I really hope they're happy together."
