Hilton angers animal rights group
An animal rights group is apparently unimpressed with Paris Hilton's treatment of Tinkerbell.

Although the hotel heiress has famously pampered the dog and Tinkerbell has in turn inspired her to make soft toys and canine jewellery, she has now reportedly handed Tink over to her mother Kathy.

Instead, she has begun to bestow her attention upon Bambi the Chihuahua. The reason for her change in affections is apparently that Tinkerbell has grown past her ideal weight of 3.5lbs, whereas Bambi is more on the petite side.

WENN quotes a spokesperson for the People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) as saying: "It's a pity that Paris' heart doesn't match her pocketbook. Animals shouldn't be disposed of like last season's trendy handbag."
