Defoe 'hosting World Cup reunion party'

England striker Jermain Defoe is reportedly throwing a World Cup reunion party this weekend.

According to The Sun, the Tottenham Hotspur forward is arranging for the players to meet up this Saturday and "let their hair down" in London.

Fellow England stars Aaron Lennon and Shaun Wright-Phillips will apparently attend the event, despite the team's poor performance in South Africa.

"The boys have been holed up in training camps in Austria and South Africa over the past few weeks," said a source.

"They haven't had the opportunity to really let off steam so they planned a get-together once England were knocked out."
