Madonna will ride again

Madonna has not been put off horses by last week's accident, and claims that she will ride again.

The singer fell from a horse whilst celebrating her 47th birthday last week. Ironically, the steed was a birthday gift from film-making husband Guy Ritchie.

She was rushed to Salisbury District Hospital for treatment when it was found that she had suffered three cracked ribs, a broken hand and a fractured collarbone.

However, Madonna has no qualms about mounting again, telling The Sun: "I am grateful and overwhelmed by everyone's good wishes.

"As soon as the doctors give me the okay, I expect to be right back on a horse and riding again."
