Heather Locklear completes rehab

Heather Locklear has successfully completed an in-patient rehabilitation programme for prescription drugs.

According to TMZ, the former Melrose Place star is "doing great" after finishing the 30-day treatment.

Sources close to Locklear denied speculation that the 48-year-old actress decided to seek help for her addiction following her hit-and-run arrest in April.

She was cleared of all charges in May after prosecutors decided that there was insufficient evidence to link her to the incident.

Locklear previously pleased no contest to a reckless driving charge in 2008, where it was alleged that she had been under the influence of prescription medication.
