According to PR Inside, the former Death Row Records boss has been accused of putting a hit on an unidentifed Los Angeles man.
Knight's accuser has claimed that he "had eight guys come to my house and told them to get me or kill me". Knight has been ordered to stay 100 yards from the man.
The incident occured a day after Knight was arrested for an alleged assault with a deadly weapon. Police have not determined whether the two incidents are connected.
Knight recently appeared in a New York court with Kanye West over a 2005 lawsuit.
