A blazer and tie ensemble of the late Richard Whiteley will be auctioned for charity, reports The Sun.
The widow of the former Countdown host, Kathryn Apanowicz, will auction the items on September 3 at the 007 Ball, Bedale Hall, North Yorkshire. The money raised will go to the MacMillan Cancer Relief organisation.
Known for his unconventional fashion taste, Whiteley was forever inundated with gifts of ties from his viewers.
He died in June following a heart operation.
