The Page 3 icon and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star was attacked by the animal after dining out with her partner on the island of Koh Samui.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Fox said: "I love animals, especially cats, but over there they’re considered like rats and are left to fend for themselves.
“I ended up feeding a lot of them, giving them bits of shellfish after dinner. This one was laying on my feet and I thought we were getting on really well so I went to stroke him but he bit me so hard it went down to the bone.”
Fox was rushed to a clinic immediately after the incident and is still being treated for the potentially fatal disease in the UK after leaving the island over a week ago.
"The treatment makes you feel sick and horrible," she said. "Really fluey and shaky."
